a) During the storming of bastille, the prison was swarmed by rioters that wanted to store ammunition in the jail. After the prison general refused to do what they requested, they attempted to break into the prison, the eventually took over the prison and took it down.
b) I believe the people that would’ve supported an event like this was anyone who didn’t like the king/monarchy as the bastille prison was a symbol or sign of authority from the king and government system.

a) This photo would indicate that Louis and Marie were being hunted, it also shows that Louis was quite overweight and Marie was the opposite. They were also being held at gunpoint which would mean that they were being accused of a very serious crime or the people didn’t like them very much.
b)They were being arrested by the common French people after they had started the revolution as they had overthrown the government and were looking for where Louis was hiding, he was most likely arrested for conspiracy.

a) This picture represents the three classes, the Nobles, the Church and the Third Estate. The two that are standing up are the Nobles and the Church and they seem to be “bullying” the man on the floor (Who represents the Third Estate).
b) It shows that the Third Estate is on the floor and with weapons scattered around of them (indicating that they will resort to violence), as the Nobles are standing in an attacking-like pose and the Church is standing behind it as if it was being protected by the Nobles, it would indicate that the Nobles had to protect themselves from the Third Estate’s violence (which was really not the case).

a) In this picture, the people that are being represented are a group that had no power or influence before the revolution. The people of the revolution gave them power and influence after they had overthrew the former government system.
b) The event that is being represented is a demonstration of the power of the common people. You can see that several people have severed heads on a wooden pole, these could be people from the Noble section of the three estates or people from the Church (assuming that that specific group dropped religion).

a) The people that are causing havoc are the common people (people of the Third Estate)
b) The things that could’ve caused behaviour resulting in violent behaviour such as this would be the fact that the government was finally overthrown and people were excited, they were also mad at the monarchy system and decided to injure people or even kill people from the higher classes. They also destroyed property.
The French Revolution was considered as a period of violence and bloodshed as, at the time, there was no other way to “get rid” of such a powerful government system. As you can see in source 4 there are people with severed heads on wooden poles, this is a way of demonstrating the new power that they had obtained after the revolution. In source 1 there are people attacking a prison (Bastille) which would have also been very violent and yet another demonstration of the power that the common people possessed. The French Revolution could’ve also been considered as a period of liberty as the common and poor people had arisen against the very wealthy and over-privileged upper classes. Looking at source 3, you can see that the man on the floor represents the people of the Third Estate and the people standing up would represent the upper classes, this is a representation of what it was like before the people started the revolution and it would’ve been considered a period of liberty as the common man had arisen from the floor and ended the misbalance of equality.
